Last week at the Athletics Norfolk Awards Ryston Runners had multiple members awarded for their performances or contributions to the sport. Below is their list of the award winners and the reasons behind the wins.

Norfolk U13 Boys Field Athlete of the Year was awarded to Mackenzie Pilkington. During the last year he broke the County Championship Record also finished the season with a jump of 5.08m, giving him a top 15 ranking in the UK for U13 Boys.

Norfolk U13 Boys Cross Country Athlete of the Year was awarded to Charlie Wakefield. During the last Cross Country Season he has had very high finishes in the Southern Inter-Counties, Nationals and over high profile races as well as winning the Norfolk Championships.

Norfolk U17 Ladies Cross Country Athlete of the Year was awarded to Annie Rooks. Annie has performed very well at the high profile races this year whilst representing Norfolk.

Norfolk Development Volunteer of the Year was awarded to Rebecca Tuff. This is for the hard work Rebecca has put into both the Ryston Monday nights lead coaching the adults distance session as well as coaching the juniors. And for the hard work on running the Get into GEAR sessions which now aways have 50-75 runners taking part in.

Norfolk Official of the Year was awarded to Neil Borrmann. Neil has helped Ryston officiate on a lot of occasions over the past decade in the wide range of league we compete in, and very much deserves this award.

Congratulations to all award winners!
