- Bonus points on offer for personal bests
- Awards for top 3 males and top 3 females with the most points at the end of the year, to be presented at the Awards Dinner
- This is a friendly competition to promote participation and camaraderie
- Open to all paid up senior club members (first claim members only)
- An Age Graded championships will run alongside the main championship, using the same races, with awards for top 3 male and top 3 female with the highest average age grading from a minimum of 10 events, to be presented at the Awards Dinner
- Members are encouraged to wear Ryston competition vests at each event
Any questions should be directed to Justin Walker (Road Running Rep) or Rob Simmonds (Club Chair).
Scoring
- Seven x Ryston organised events. Your best 5 scores out of 7 will count.
- Seventeen x Non-Ryston organised events. Your best 10 scores out of 17 will count.
- For each event, the first Ryston male and female finisher scores 100 points, second Ryston male and female finisher scores 99 points, and so on.
- One x 50 point marathon (must be attended official event, not virtual)
- One x 50 point for competing in at least 1 track and field league match - SAL, EAL or EMAC
- 10 points each time you break a personal best (let us know, we won't know otherwise!)
- Points automatically accrued provided you race as a Ryston member
- Note that there will be no volunteer points available for the 2024 championship to make the championship more running focussed - but please continue to support and help out at our Ryston organised events as before!
Races
Note: Some events are still provisional. Consequently, these events may change should they be withdrawn, or other reason. Should this be the case, we will replace the original event with a new event in the championship list, and endeavour to provide you with as much notice as possible.
